Finding a good kicker in the NFL these days seems like a tough question. Multiple teams rotate multiple kickers each year, but perhaps these clubs should start exploring options on their roster. This week, Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reed posted a video of him hitting a 65-yard field goal in practice.

Check out the huge kick here:

The former Houston Texans defensive back Known for his ability to play footballIn fact, last year, he came on as a backup to kicker Kemi Fairbairn in the preseason after Fairbairn was injured in a pre-match warm-up.

While the kick wasn’t in the game, and Reed didn’t deal with defenders trying to block it, only one kicker hit a field goal of 65 yards or longer in the NFL last year, and that was the Baltimore Ravens Justin Tucker, who had a game-winning, record-setting 66-yard field goal against the Detroit Lions.

Reed signed a Three-year, $31.5 million deal That includes a guaranteed $20 million with the Chiefs this offseason. In 57 career games, he recorded 315 steals, 23 defensive passes and seven interceptions. The Chiefs have a solid kicker in Harrison Butker, but it’s good to know that they have another player on their roster who could step in and play if it comes down to it.
