No announcements have been made yet, but Esposito “has been in the room” with Marvel.
Giancarlo Esposito, the actor behind “The Mandalorian” villain Moff Gideon and “Far Cry 6” Anton Castillo, has expressed interest in playing the role in the upcoming X-Men reboot Professor X.
Speaking at the San Antonio Comic Con, Esposito provided inspirational words to the crowd while also revealing his potential appearance in the next Marvel movie.
“So … there’s talk of Magneto, there’s talk of Dr. Frazier, there’s talk of … Dr. Doom. And Professor X,” Esposito said. The crowd made it clear who they preferred, and then Esposito offered his opinion.
When asked to choose one of these iconic Marvel characters, Esposito replied, “I’m going to choose something a little bit different.” “I’m going to put it in the universe, and it’s Professor X.”
So far, there hasn’t been any official word on the X-Men reboot teased at the end of Ms. Marvel.source to talk to Eli Murdy A rumored title for “The Mutants” has been suggested, but the role and date have yet to be confirmed.
In other Marvel news, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is returning with a brand new arcade offering from Arcade1Up. The cabinet will also include several other Capcom/Marvel fighters, including Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, and Marvel Super Gems heroes in war. However, the most exciting part of the cabinet will be the built-in Wi-Fi for multiplayer compatibility. Pre-orders will begin in September, and while we don’t have an official price tag, most of Arcade1Up’s cabinets are priced at $500.
