Manchester United Winger Alejandro Ganacho is the man most wanted at Old Trafford, with more than 20 clubs offering him on loan this summer.

The 18-year-old caught everyone’s attention last season when he scored twice in the FA Youth Cup final win over Nottingham Forest in May.

He already made his Premier League debut in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea last month, and manager Eric Ten Hager is a big fan of the player.

Mirror Report 10 Hag is weighing if Manchester United are the right environment for Garnacho to continue growing at this stage.

More than 20 clubs from five different countries, England, Spain, Germany, Italy and Scotland, want Manchester United to be willing to loan him out.

No decision has been made and some in the United hierarchy want the Argentina youth international to stay until January to see how he fares.

Premier League teams will be allowed five substitutions per game from the start of the season, which could give academy graduates more game time.

Ten Haag was impressed by Ganacho’s performance last weekend, telling MUTV: “We want young players who deserve a chance and we want to give them a chance.

“He showed himself in preseason and that’s why he came in and played well.

“It’s promising, he’s doing really well.”

United have yet to add to their front in the transfer window and Cristiano Ronaldo’s future remains unclear.

Continuing discussions with Barcelona on midfielder Frenkie de Jong, Manchester United have been chasing for 12 weeks.

Ten Haig was asked about De Jong’s situation ahead of Sunday’s game against Brighton and replied: “We want Frankie [de Jong]? I have no idea!

“It’s about the right players, but I can’t talk about contract players from another club.

“You’ll know when there is news.”
