Jurgen Klopp Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Fulham at Craven Cottage this lunchtime blamed a “dry” pitch.
Mo Salah equalised in the 80th minute to prevent Liverpool’s defeat. But the Reds, who just won the Community Shield last week, were not at their usual level, leading to another excuse from Klopp.
“The best thing was actually the result, we got a point from a really bad game on my side.”
“It (Thiago’s injury) looks like a bad hamstring.”

“The best thing about this game is the result,” Klopp told BT Sport’s De Kelly after the draw.
“A very bad game. How did this happen? The attitude was wrong at the beginning. We tried to react after 15 minutes. The pitch was dry, like this. It was really difficult.” [BT]

He also claimed BT Sport ordered a game to end early, blamed “cold feet” for two of Alisson’s errors and criticised having to play Real Madrid at the B team’s stadium a few years ago.

Liverpool’s next game is their first home game of the season against Crystal Palace, who travel to Anfield next Monday after a 2-0 loss to Arsenal in their opening game of the season.
They then face Manchester United on 22 August on Merseyside.
