Indiana Corporation Eli Lilly company and Cummins Opposes the state’s new abortion law, saying the restrictions could hurt a company’s ability to retain and attract employees and could affect the direction of a business.
Saturday’s announcement comes after Indiana’s governor signed a near-total ban on abortion Friday shortly after lawmakers approved it. The ban went into effect on September 15, including exceptions.
