CANTON, Ohio (AP) — Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels made a successful return in their sideline debut.

Trailing 27-3, the Jaguars found the end zone when Kyle Sloter threw a 5-yard TD pass to Nathan Cottrell late in the fourth quarter. Cottrell runs to the middle for a 2-point conversion.
Stidham withstood Walker’s final blow and connected with Kieran Cole for 31 yards in the opening game. He went 8 for 15 for 96 yards.
White, the team’s fourth-round pick, advanced for 52 yards on 11 possessions, including a 14-yard run on his first touch. Jacobs ran for 30 yards on five carries. Walter had 49 yards and an 8-yard TD on 8 carries.
A warm welcome to Tony Boselli
Tony Boselli, the No. 1 overall pick in Jaguars history and the team’s first Hall of Fame inductee, was greeted with applause when he was introduced as a class of 2022 inductee. Longtime Raiders wide receiver Cliff Branch will be inducted into the Hall of Fame posthumously, with his sister Elaine Anderson representing him in the pregame introduction. Jacksonville hosts Cleveland next Friday night.
Las Vegas will host Minnesota on August 14.
