Assassin’s Creed Valhalla might get some MCU and Star Wars-inspired armor sets.
as first reported European players Earlier today, August 5th, YouTuber and dataminer Andy Reloaded (opens in new tab) Digged into the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla files and found something rather interesting. First, you can take a look at the armor buried in the game files, which YouTubers and data miners believe takes some pretty obvious inspiration from Star Wars’ Stormtroopers and Marvel’s Iron Man.
No, just in case you’re wondering, these aren’t actual stormtrooper armor sets. What’s actually happening here is that the armor set is a reference to the Isu race in the Assassin’s Creed series, a technologically advanced society that has emerged in the past few mainline games.
Then there’s the new armor below. While this is also a set of armor that references Isu society, it’s clearly inspired by Thanos from the Marvel Comics and Cinematic Universe, especially when you look at the multi-colored gloves wielded by the right-hand armor.
Curiously, none of these armor sets actually appeared in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Ubisoft never commented on or hinted at their addition. While the Stormtrooper armor set is a relatively new discovery, the Thanos armor set was actually added to the game files back in May, so it’s been around for a while.
We’ll have to see if Ubisoft actually ends up bringing these armor sets to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, or if they’re left on the cutting room floor.
What we know is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is getting a roguelite mode Later this year, Ubisoft will unveil other future DLC for the game by the end of the year.
