Wave 2 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass may have only Lost. But wait, stop your engine. Before diving into the new course, why not check out the Coconut Mall?
Why do you want to do this, you ask? Well, Nintendo may have introduced Wave 2 today, but it also confirmed that it updated one of the classes in Wave 1.
In both the Wii version and the Mario Kart Tour version of this fan-favorite track, there are cars that can drive into your character and knock you out at the end of the course. A bit unsporty, but it’s become very iconic. You can push your opponent into it and there are some twists, turns at the end of a lap. This didn’t exist when Coconut Mall debuted in Deluxe in March, and many fans weren’t happy about it:
But Nintendo has taken notice, and in addition to these new courses, the Big N has returned and updated the courses to let the shy guys drive these cars! There you go, shy guy. We believe you can hit all our enemies.
They don’t move the same way they did in previous releases, but we’re glad Nintendo has returned and updated this track with this much-needed feature.
Then we’ll add that back to the rotation!
What do you think of this fix? The car in Coconut Mall is moving again, are you happy? let us know!
