After months of rumors and leaks, Square Enix has finally confirmed that Tactical Ogre: Rebirth is real. And, better yet, it’s coming to Switch soon.
Just a few weeks ago, the game’s release date was leaked on PS Deals, so we’ve been waiting almost with bated breath for Square Enix only say the word. Now, this enhanced version — based on the 2010 PSP version of the SNES game, Tactics Ogre: Let’s Stick Together — brings Matsuno’s classic strategy RPG back to Nintendo consoles.
Here’s a brief summary of the game’s new website, along with some additional screenshots:
Based on the 2010 version, the game features improved graphics and sound, as well as an updated game design, bringing the new tactical ogre to life and staying true to its roots.
Veterans of Tactics Ogre will experience a game beyond their fondest memories, while new players of Tactics Ogre will discover a game they’ve never played before.
The game is reborn and deeper than ever, allowing players to immerse themselves in the world and intrigue of Tactics Ogre like never before.
Toggle booking is not available yet, but you can check Square Enix’s website And relive the hype over and over again.
