For the remainder of the 2022 season, a patch with “Vin” and a microphone will appear on the team’s jersey sleeve.
The Dodgers debuted the jersey Wednesday night against the Giants.
On Wednesday, flowers appeared at Dodger Stadium in honor of the late announcer. Fans brought flowers outside the stadium, and blue flowers were placed in Scully’s broadcast booth.
From 1950 to 2016, Scully served as the Dodgers’ play-by-play announcer. He died Tuesday at the age of 94.

He started working with the team when it was still in Brooklyn, and he moved with the team to Los Angeles. He played his last game at the age of 89.
In addition to the Dodgers broadcast, Scully worked for CBS, covering NFL games and PGA Tour events for parts of the 70s and 80s. He also called the National MLB game for NBC in the ’80s.
Sculley was inducted into the Dodgers Hall of Fame in 1982.
