A Pokemon fan made a hauntingly beautiful photo showing the combination of Gengar and Bulbasaur that other Pokemon fans love.
many arts Pokemon Fans have been hearing from the upcoming Pokemon scarlet and Purple Since they were revealed to be making their own designs. However, instead of taking inspiration from the upcoming Gen 9 game, one fan has taken the designs of Gen 1’s Bulbasaur and Gengar to create their own Pokemon with similarities to both.
Both Bulbasaur and Gengar are right Pokemon Franchise, the two original Pokemon introduced in 1996 Pokemon Red and blue. Bulbasaur is a grass starter that players can choose to accompany them on their journeys, while Charmander and Squirtle are another option. Bulbasaur evolved into Ivysaur, followed by Venusaur, and has become one of the most iconic introductory Pokemon of all time. Gengar, on the other hand, is the final evolved ghost-type Pokemon of Gastly and Haunter. Gengar can be found in many video games throughout the series, and it’s one of the most Pokemon players can catch and fight.
Reddit user Imkitoto combined the designs of these two classic Pokemon to create a Ghost-type Pokemon that shares a lot of similarities with the Grass-type Kickstarter. However, instead of green, this design is mostly purple, with fog replacing Bulbasaur’s bulbs. In the background of the picture, there is a faded copy of this fan-shaped design, which Imkitoto calls “Gengasaur”.
other Pokemon Fans told Imkitoto how much they loved Gengasaur and praised the artwork. Another Reddit user, EndeavouringCat, asked Imkitoto to make other designs based on existing Pokemon. Imkitoto replied that they have done other Pokemon– Inspired artwork, new ones may be uploaded soon. One of them they’ve made, a cross between Charizard and Ampharos called “Charmpharos”, was uploaded today as well.In addition to incorporating designs from beloved Pokemon, Imkitoto also mixes in fan art such as full time hunter, between us, spy x family, Demon Slayerand Avatar: The Last Airbender.
